There is hardly more suitable paper for painting with watercolour paints in our assortment than Pop Aquarell. The selected A4 format corresponds to its weight of 250 g/m2. The paper has a pleasant warm tone and the structure evokes the surface of handmade paper.
We can use the structure of the paper and guide the brush almost horizontally with the paper. The paint does not penetrate the structure of the paper, which has a plastic effect and it can be used to paint tree leaves, shrubs, bark structures, rough walls and the like.
We can wipe the areas where we want to achieve a lightening effect with a sponge or paper towel, but very gently, so that the paper does not start to crumble during a too rough intervention.
We can make wet strokes special by sprinkling them with table salt. During the drying process, effective structures and shapes form around the crystals. The salt is easily removed with the palm of our hand when the painting is dry. This effect is useful for illustrating the structure of sand or small plants.
