After we introduce classic watercolours to our children and we are confident that they have mastered a proper way of holding brush and handling colours, it's time to discover new and yet unknown brilliant colours.
Now we can boldly get to work! And because children love to paint according to their imagination, it is best to leave it up to them. All you have to do is announce a general theme and the ideas will arise in their little heads. You can use brilliant watercolours to make greeting cards for mothers, shining with all colours. Such greeting cards, made with love, become a gift for mothers that they will surely love to keep.
When we want to create a delicate contour-free image, such as floral painting, we only need the brilliant watercolours. A flower without a sharp edge has the same subtle look as in nature. On the other hand, we can use a thin fineliner to draw the contours, and then use the brilliant watercolours. We can also play with diluting of the shades and darkening them after drying, shading, and refining of colours.
