Aquarell
Aquarell painting has got relatively short history. Its beginnings can be date at the beginning of the 19th century when the Society of Aquarell Painters was established. Aquarell painting was regarded as a complementary one in those times and only appropriate enough for sketches which were after repainted with oil colours. Later on it was used by such artists like Joseph Mallord William Turner, Wassily Kandinsky or Peter De Wint and became a fully recognised technique.
